Why Relationships Fall Apart: Lessons You Learn Too Late

When I am writing this, I have to look back into the past and think about how many relationships I have been in. This is always a question of concern because you realise things late in life. Whether your relationship is good or not, no one really knows. No one knows which relationship is perfect, and honestly, no one has the roadmap—not even me.

But I feel like nowadays, relationships are breaking up for funny reasons, and I have been observing that for quite some time.

You might have seen Indian news channels, how they are showing recent relationship breaks, where wives and girlfriends are killing their partners for no reason, and in some cases even husbands. And these things are becoming more serious day by day. No relationship seems to be stable these days.

I have made one video about relationships as well: why relationships break and do not run peacefully.

If we compare relationships, they were never easy and never were stable. I don’t know about the heavens, but in this normal world, relationships were never easy or stable, and they are not stable now. Recently, they have started becoming more complicated than ever.

I remember my childhood. When I was a kid, I used to think about monogamy, and in my life, I was only going to have one partner. And being a millennial, when I reached the age of marriage, girls started killing boyfriends and all.

Now I am 30, and I am confused. But I feel like it’s not the case with everyone. But now I feel it’s because of miscommunication, or when someone wants a break with you, they automatically start to miscommunicate.

With a lot of brainstorming and confusion, I feel like there is a lot to it. There are a lot of thoughts to it and so on.

Is Monogamy Possible?

monogamy

My thoughts are deep. If you recall the science and what people say about science, men are not monogamous by nature, so females may be the same. Maybe that is true, but we are humans. We call ourselves humans because we have different thoughts, and we can even control our thoughts and desires. And maybe it is possible for us to be happy with a single partner throughout our lives. I think this is possible for me.

I don’t get many thoughts about getting involved with many people. It can be because of the moral burden or because of the social upbringing.

I have been in families where people only have one partner. So maybe because of moral pressure, or maybe my inner core is such that, when I think about this deeply, I feel like maybe I am not made for multiple partners and stuff. I am just a one-woman man.

But the question here is: is monogamy possible?

For me, of course, my answer is yes, because I don’t have many desires, and I have seen people and how they end up when they marry more than once and all.

Maybe I am only interested in one family, nothing much.

Yes, we all know that people try to relate themselves to old stories and tribal people, but back then things were different. Today, we have evolved so much that we are sharing our thoughts digitally and consuming porn content through digital means.

So we need to think about this once. And from here, the second question comes: do relationships break only because of sexual desires, or is there much more to it?

Do people leave each other only because of sexual desires?

sex and breakups

Here also, we need to answer this question, but in most cases, this does not seem to be the reason. In some cases, it does seem to be the reason, but not in all cases.

When I see and listen to the stories of people, sometimes girls leave because of finances. In the present world, mostly because of finances, so everyone is running behind money.

Sometimes they leave because of personal issues. Sometimes boys leave because of the daily nagging and making them feel like he is nothing, that he has no value in this world.

There are multiple reasons, and these reasons vary from person to person. But when I look at it closely, I reached a conclusion.

Boys have basic priorities, like peace, love, respect, and happiness. But when it comes to girls, they don’t even know what they want in the first place.

Most girls are constantly making comparisons with everyone around them, with their family members, random people, and friends who share their life on social media.

Based on these comparisons, they keep on nagging their partner and slowly start to kill the relationship, without realising that everyone is different and everyone has a different life.

And when they feel they are losing the argument, they add respect in between, like, you don’t respect them or such. They are self-confused, but they confuse the other person with their behaviour, and I feel maybe that thing makes them feel good for a while, but they change their mood afterwards.

You can hardly predict a woman’s behaviour because it is totally in a woman’s own hands, which she later blames on her hormones, and she never takes the blame lol.

You can’t say much about it. I have experienced it myself. I was the only wrong person in my relationship, even in cases when I had done nothing at all, not even a single movement.

So maybe it’s not a question of physical things. Women can leave you for any reason, and in most cases, they themselves decide things in their heads and act according to that. Later on, they check the possibilities and make the final call.

And even after the final call, they can go back on that because you don’t know what women want in the end.

Then what is the real reason behind relationship issues?

confusion after breakups

am not a relationship expert, but I can say one thing about that: a relationship is a two-sided thing. It’s not one person’s thing. Sometimes girls ruin things, sometimes boys ruin them, but it’s about both people and how they manage it.

Basically, ending a relationship is not that difficult, and it’s very easy. The difficult part is keeping it going.

And when only one person is putting in all the effort and the other is just pointing out faults in the relationship, the relationship is soon going to end. Because the other person will start feeling that something is wrong and his or her efforts are just useless.

And instead of wasting those efforts on anyone, it is better to be alone and happy.

Because at some point, you realise that everything seems to be boring. When I see people in this world, I feel like they need more improvement because maybe making a family and nurturing it fully is a complete sign of evolution. Because even some animals and birds do so.

We are the only capable beings of making families and nurturing them for generations. So we need to think again. We need some changes in our priorities.

When I think about taking a break or breaking up with any person, I feel that way when they completely make me realise that they do not need me. They will be even better off without me, or maybe much happier.

This is when I automatically take an exit from their lives, because I have seen people become very bad when it comes to a relationship. Some even don’t accept it. They keep on ruining each other’s lives and give it the name of career or family, not understanding, or maybe some other reason.

If you want to save your relationship, then ask yourself these questions:

  • Why did you choose that person?
  • What is the core reason for your relationship?
  • Is the only reason for the breakup that person or you?
  • What is creating the issues?
  • Is that person not putting in effort when it is needed to maintain that relationship?

Think about such questions. Answer them honestly in your heart, and slowly you will get the right answer.

Because we can lie to everyone in this world, but not to ourselves. And that’s the first relationship we have with ourselves.

So think about the issues, consider them, then ask the right questions to yourself, and if your partner is ready to communicate, ask them also.

Resolve the issues if you really want to be with each other. Otherwise, leave each other in peace, because after some time, a person wants peace, nothing else.

Even today, I feel like living alone is not that bad. But you don’t have someone to share something with. Still, it is much better than sharing with someone whom you can’t trust fully, because you know that.

And I realised that when you share your vulnerabilities with your female partners, sometimes they use that too.

I am saying this from experience.

So think about this too, and maybe I will say there is one thing that can save relationships. It is the concept of demand and supply.

It clearly says that when you supply things equal to demand, not much more than that, you will be happy.

Maybe this sounds transactional, but this works for a lot of people. Maybe someday I will write about love and modern-day love. Lol.

I don’t know how to end this one. Maybe relationships are confusing when partners are not telling each other the truth.

Maybe a relationship is only possible when both partners have the same goals to achieve. For a successful company, all partners need to align to achieve the same goal; otherwise, the company is going to collapse.

The same goes for relationships.

Good night.
