When I wake up, I think about this every morning. And when I am done with that, immediately a new question comes up: Why am I special?
Why do I need to think that way? Do I have to be special to be in this world? Why do I need to feel so?
Today is Sunday, and I woke up quite late, unlike usual days, just to rest a bit more. Mostly, my Sunday is going to be full of sleep, rest, some house-cleaning work, and a little more brainstorming about things and everything else.
But this morning, I just spent a few minutes thinking about myself. Why am I special? Why is this world now teaching us to be special? Why do we need to be special to live in this world? Can’t we just live a normal life, be who we are, and be peaceful with it?
Sometimes, when I think about this world, I feel like everyone is trying to do more, be more, and go beyond their limits. And again, my mind gets stuck with the same thought: Why do I need to be more?
Obviously, I need to earn more money to live a good life because, you know, it’s hard to live without money. Even writing this article is not possible without money.
While I am writing this, it is costing me electricity, an internet bill, and many other hidden expenses. If I am not able to make money, maybe I won’t be able to continue my writing in the future.
Apart from that, let’s go back to the original question again:
Why do we need to be special?

Not many people ask this question to themselves: whether they are special or whether they need to be special in this world. But only a few question themselves, and they get an answer about it.
We are primates evolved into human beings, and we have seen monkeys copy each other. No monkey wants to be special, but humans have desires, desires beyond their limits, and they believe that the universe is going to help them fulfill those desires. And this journey continues for humans till death.
And when death arrives, not all people die with joy. And here comes another question: why?
We want to live young, but we don’t want to die. Not in the case of all people, but with some.
Some are afraid to die. That’s why they take precautions and, to be young, believe in stories like the fountain of eternal youth and many such fairy tales.
I don’t believe that. By seeing life, living it, and going through it, life taught me a lesson: every phase of your life has its own value, and you do a different thing in every phase.
When you are born, you start crawling. You learn to speak, and when you grow, you start to learn to compete with people. But now everyone wants to do that.
Even I was not like everyone. I was never jealous of people who were above me or had a more luxurious life than me.
I was happy with whatever I had. I was happy with my life, and I enjoyed every single phase of my life.
And to be honest, not all phases of my life were constant. All phases have different issues. Some problems totally changed my perspective about life, relationships, and people.
And from there, the question of being special came into my mind.
When I think about being special, I think about it in my own eyes, not in others’ eyes. I don’t want others to think I am special or treat me in any such way. I want them to think of me as a normal person and treat me with respect and love.
Every single being on this planet must be treated with love and respect because we know there is only one planet in this universe that carries life, and so we are so alone in this entire universe. But only a few realise this.
Sometimes I think my thoughts are a blunder, and very few thoughts are taking me in the direction where I have to go because most of my thoughts are affected by this world.
I want to be original, as many say, and at the same time, I feel the same. My words should be original, my thoughts should be original, and my face should be original.
But some theories suggest that there are 7–8 people with the same face on this planet. The things we think and the thoughts we have may have already been said by someone in some way.
So why so much headache for being special?
Can’t we enjoy our lives by being simple?

My thoughts always end here: can’t I be a simple being who lives for some time, enjoys their life, and moves in a direction where this world becomes a positive place to live, not a place of war?
A place where all are equal. No one has to be enslaved, no one has to be a criminal, and no one has to be in pain.
Is it possible, or is it something we call “beyond”?
But when I think about this, I get to know that we have already thought of such a world.
We call it heaven and think that God has already created such a world, but we end up making the world this way.
Maybe I need to think again. I was in a dream, and now I am awake. I have to go and shit on the toilet seat and worry about my bills, because Sunday is ahead and I have to spend the entire day scrolling reels and maybe watching some movies and stuff.
So, how are you doing, guys? Let me know what you think about yourself.
Every single being on this planet is special. That also means we are all equal in all senses. Nature treats us that way.
