A Rat trapped in a cage

This story may seem inspiring, depressing, or any other way, but I have recently witnessed a rat that was trapped in a cage. He was young and enthusiastic, but somehow, he got trapped, and he was there in the trap for a few days. I have seen his movements and how he lost hope after trying for a few days.

Ever since then, I have been asking myself the question: What if I am the rat who is trapped? What are the possibilities for that rat when he is inside the trap? What can he do inside the trap that can make him happy or peaceful, or assure him that his future will be safe?

Basically, everything starts with a cage and a rat running around the house. The bread is placed inside the cage so that the rat can smell it and try to eat it, and it will get trapped. The same thing happened: the rat smelled the bread, slowly got lured in, and the cage closed.

The cage owner was not a bad person, but he was tired of this rat, so he put the cage down and forgot about it. The rat was full of enthusiasm and confidence. Maybe he had seen such a cage before or had escaped from one. Who knows? Only the rat can answer this.

So, on the first day, the rat was trying his best to escape the cage, but the cage boundaries were strong, made of iron, and from what I have seen of the world, no rat can escape an iron cage by himself.

On the first day, the rat tried and hit the cage walls with all his power, but there was no response. The cage was stronger than he had imagined, but he got tired. Now, at night, he had eaten the remaining bread, and he was shouting, with no one there to understand what the rat had to say. The owner already knew about the rat, so he ignored him.

On the second day, no new bread was provided to the rat, and now the rat was trying to find new ways to do things. He was trying to cut the cage, but his teeth were not that strong. He started bleeding, and soon, things started to get tiring. He was now in pain, and at the same time, he was confused about how he was supposed to escape the cage.

Maybe he was looking towards the sky and asking God why He had shown him this day. Had he done so many bad things that he was now trapped in a cage stronger than his will, and he couldn’t even escape it?

Maybe he was remembering his karma, the things he had destroyed in the home, and maybe he was saying, “God, forgive me. I will never do that thing again.”

There was a time when he was trying to find his mistakes, remembering his ex and thinking that maybe she had cursed him, and that was why this was happening to him. Maybe he had 1,000+ other regrets, yet the cage was as strong as before. There was no way to escape from it, no God appeared, and the owner was so busy doing things that he forgot about the cage and the rat. He was just doing his daily chores.

By night, the rat was hungry, and he was still not able to cut the cage. He kept trying, and maybe a voice from above said, “There is no use in doing this. It will only waste more energy and make you bleed.”

On the third day, the rat had done everything inside the cage: the susu, the potty, and everything. He had not eaten for three days in a row, and the freedom he used to have while running around the house was perhaps calling his name, giving him more pain. Maybe the pain in his eyes was flowing like water. Maybe he was thinking about what he had done wrong.

Now he chose another way. He started making promises to God that once he managed to escape the cage, he would do this and that. He would go to his ex and say sorry and do many more things. He would say sorry to the owner, and he would never destroy the things in the house again. He would be a good rat.

After that, he was too tired even to stand, so he just wrapped himself up and lay down as if he had lost all hope.

I was the one watching all these things and imagining myself in the cage. What if I were there instead of this RAT in the cage? What could I possibly have done, and what possible ways could I have found to escape the cage?

Or would I be the one to suffer that much? Are we the only species on the planet that understands spiritualism, or are there other beings as well that understand spiritualism?

The only answer I was getting from all this was that if I were there in the cage instead of this rat, I would hardly try to escape the cage. I would sit quietly after trying my best, without hurting myself, because if I knew I couldn’t escape it, then I would have to find another way to do things.

So, my answer was to dive inside and learn about myself.

The rat had made all the promises to God, and now he was sitting there, losing hope. He started thinking that there was no such thing as God. He thought that God was just an illusion because he had made all possible promises, but he was still in the cage. He had remembered all his mistakes, yet he was still in the cage.

Nothing had changed for three days, and now he had lost hope.

But then the owner remembered that he had trapped the rat a few days ago. He ran towards the cage and saw that the rat was still alive. After feeling happy to see the rat alive, he took the rat and went into the woods. He opened the cage and said “soo, soo” a few times, and now the rat knew this was the signal to freedom.

But the rat was looking at the owner’s face as if the owner were God or something.

Not because he was allowing him to escape, but because the rat realised that three days in the cage had made him remember all his mistakes and regrets, everything he had done wrong and right, how much faith he had in God, whether God really helps, and many more things beyond the dimension.

This entire experience was in his eyes, and he was not running away from the owner of the house. He had come to know that the owner was just protecting his things. He had nothing against the rat and no hatred towards him. Maybe, at some point, he might have hated the rat, but not all the time.

Now the RAT had escaped the cage, and he was free to live in the woods. He was much more mature, and he understood the world better than before. He now understood karma and its consequences as well.

Maybe people would say that he had become humble or spiritual, but it was not that. He knew that anything could happen to him. He was not that strong, and he could not fight alone with this world because he had barely been able to escape the cage that, in his mind, was nothing.

So now he looks above again as if he has all the answers. He is not praying anymore. Now he knows God instead of just believing in God. Now he knows all the answers, the answers that people will not understand. Now he has escaped the matrix.

Think about this and see who the RAT is here and who the owner is, and I guess you will be able to imagine the right situation and relate to it.
