Benefits of Home Workouts: Why You Don’t Always Need a Gym

Being able to work for years now, I have come to a conclusion, and so I will share a few things that might impress your head in a way that you might not go anywhere else.

As I have shared some of my journey previously in why I Started My Home Workout Journey, now you know why. So, we are ready to discuss the benefits of home workouts that I have experienced myself. There is no mix of content, only real, genuine feedback.

Before diving deep into the benefits of home workouts, we need to understand the motive of your workout, because home workouts are beneficial for those who have offices and live a normal life, not for athletes who want to compete in competitions and want to play for schools.

Home workouts are something that saves time and money and saves you from spending too much on a gym without utilising it. I have seen people take memberships at gyms for ₹25K a year but fail to hit the gym for even a month due to their hectic schedules.

I am saying this because this has happened to me in the past, and I feel very bad about it because I lost my hard-earned money for nothing.

And it’s not just my story; it’s the story of many people worldwide. Many people take gym memberships but fail to hit the gym on a regular basis.

So, it’s better to work out at home. Even a home workout can be so effective if you choose to do it the right way. It also improves your mental strength to the fullest.

The most important catch is that you don’t need any equipment for it, just a mat, a water bottle, your body, and the courage to do a home workout.

I ignored home workouts in the beginning, but slowly, after getting benefits from them, I started enjoying home workouts.

Why Home Workout?

Why home workout

As I have mentioned before, home workouts are not meant for all; for all those who only want to be happy and healthy and maintain their work-life balance, a home workout is best.

People don’t get time to work out after the office. The same is the case with me. After 9–5, I don’t get time to hit the gym, and if I hit the gym in the morning, I end up sleeping in the office.

You know very well how tired you get after hitting the gym. So, a home workout solves this issue.

Not just that, you also get a good sexual drive, and it also improves your overall performance, morning erections, and many things related to sexual health.

So, if you have been ignoring home workouts for no reason, then you should consider them once. It might change your physical, mental, social, and sexual health for life.

Benefits of Home Workout?

core benefits of home workout

Starting from zero, the best thing is that it saves time. You can immediately start working out without travelling to any place.

Overall, it trains your body and mind and gives you the strength to handle the pressure of daily life.

It improves your sexual drive and helps your mental health, maintaining a good libido. Overall, this will improve your relationship with your partner.

It improves your heart health.

If you add running to your home workout, maybe a minimum of 2 km daily, it makes your heart healthier than hitting the gym.

It saves you a lot of money and disputes with people. You know what happens when you hit the gym: you have to encounter people, and sometimes disputes happen. This also gets solved with a home workout.

A home workout can also push your limits if you have the capability to push yourself.

Doing a home workout daily tells you that you are comfortable with your body and that you don’t need any equipment to work out. You can work out from anywhere in this world.

I feel the same. When I started working out for my 75 Hard Challenge, it improved my mental health and also changed my anxiety about not being able to work out in public places because I used to feel bad about working out on roads and in public places.

Maybe I was not comfortable back then, but now I am comfortable working out anywhere in the world, and it makes me feel happy too.

Sometimes it’s hard to express the feelings that you had inside because back then, when I started working out, I was not even comfortable with my body. The clothes were not fitting, and I used to feel bad about it. Even running 1 km was too hard for me. I was in pain, not able to say it to anyone, but slowly everything changed.

The moment I decided that I would work out no matter what the weather was, what the conditions were, or whether I had equipment or not, nothing could stop me. I would go for running, use bricks for push-ups and other things as equipment, and I would achieve a fit body. My journey is still going on. You can check out the YouTube videos of my journey if you want.

I have also lost around 10 kg with home workouts and by coaching myself. I feel good, my clothes look good on me, and there was a huge role of diet in this entire journey as well. I had fasts and everything. Overall, I am trying to achieve a good physique that gives me the confidence to do things in life.

I hope you enjoyed this one. Next, I will cover the basic routine for home workouts and some exercises that can give you strength, endurance, and speed, which you should add to your home workout to achieve good results, along with the diet that you need to take care of.

Thanks, stay tuned, and support my work and journey.
